Let's talk foundation ladies! Do you feel your not wearing enough or maybe you feel you have on way too much? You might be right!
All foundations are not created equal and neither are any of our faces or the reasons why we do our makeup. Personally I don't like lots of makeup unless of course it's an important event but daily now it's just a CC cream.
For light coverage and great for ladies that are oily but need minimal coverage a nice tinted rice powder will soak up the oil without clogging pores.
For light coverage non oily skin a tinted moisturizer, bb or CC cream will do wonders.
For medium coverage a nice pressed or loose powder foundation will work great!
For younger skin looking for medium to full coverage liquid foundation is the way to go. If your skin has some flaws look for a foundation that also has corrector in it.
For my older ladies cream foundation is the best! With the cream you can actually manipulate it to be as light or full covering as you want. The cream will move with your skin and not dry it out either.
For really important life events or times where you want to look completely flawless Cream foundation is the way to go!
Make sure to always blend out your edges and clean your hair line!!
Do you know the difference between GWC "guy with camera" and a real photographer? Every woman should at least once have a professional photo shoot if not for anything else but yourself. It's fun to have photos of you looking great and feeling like a million bucks but be careful who you let photograph you.
Do you know that the photographer has all rights to your pictures and can do as they please with them? When looking for a photographer always ask to see their portfolio first and if you can take someOne witH you to the shoot. Also look for customer reviews and check out their social media feeds.
If the photographer does not have a book or website that is a red flag.if the photographer has a problem with you bringing a friend that is a huge red flag. If the work makes you feel uncomfortable that is a red flag.
Do not jeopardize losing your self worth over a few pictures. Do research photographers and interview them to see if they are right for you.
Does your makeup tingle or make your face feel itchy? Guess what you might be allergic to it! Not all makeup are created equal and neither are any of us. When you have an allergic reaction to makeup it can be any where from a slight tingle on your face to full out hives and blister break out. Testing out new products are very important before you apply all over your face. People say to test on the inner arm but not really that great for makeup. I feel my arms are rougher then my face so I like to test at the back of my jaw line by where the ear lobe is. If you feel any kind of sensation then you are probably allergic to it.Clean the area and immediately stop using the product. Make an appointment with your doctor immediately.
Where are you matching your foundation ladies? If your face is lighter or darker then your chest you probably picked the wrong color! Keep in mind to change foundation colors with the seasons. This is true especially if you get a tan in summer or go pale during winter. Match with the top of your chest and blend into the skin if it looks like it disappeared that's your foundation color.
